Bernhoff completed her PhD in medical biology at the University of Tromsø in 2009. She has worked as a molecular biologist at the department of medical microbiology at Stavanger University hospital since 2011 and joined the AMR research group as a researcher in 2017. On a daily basis she is responsible for the research-lab and is involved in several NOR-KLEB projects.
